Google AdSense Alternatives
We have thoroughly researched the internet to find the best Google AdSense Alternatives. We also combed over list after list and found that they were not vetted as thoroughly as they could be because some of the lists had programs that were not actually AdSense site vs a comparable site. For example, Ezoic is named on most of these lists.
Ezoic is not an ad network. They are a technology that helps you with Google AdSense. It is also a training platform on how to use these technologies. Ezoic is not a direct alternative as it does entirely different things than an ad network.
So our list was created to show exact ad networks that are true alternatives to Google AdSense.
First, we would like to explain the types of advertising and the different types of Ads.

Types of Advertising
Native Advertising: ads that don’t really look like ads. They blend into the content.
We borrowed the following pic from Outbrain. It shows a few examples of what Native Advertising looks like in use.

Contextual Advertising: the automated process where ads that are chosen for your site will be relevant to your content because they use “context clues” or keywords to match ads to your content.

AdThrive
AdTrive almost did not make the list as the amount of traffic you need to join is over 100,000 views a month. So it is not an exact match to the AdSense program at lower levels, but it is more than a match with high traffic numbers.
Mediavine
While Mediavine is an alternative to Google AdSense, it operates at a much higher level of traffic. It almost did not make it on this list either. You must have a min of 50,000 sessions in 30 days to even begin to qualify. However, if you receive that much traffic, Mediavine is a MUCH better option than AdSense.
Other Types of Alternatives to Google AdSense
There are other sites that offer an alternative to Google AdSense, but they are not exact matches. The following list displays those options.
Adversal

Ad Format
Native Advertising
50,000 page views per month
Amazon Native Ads
https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/home/ads
Like AdSense in away as they use Contextual Advertising, but it is all Amazon Ads and products that are shown in the advertisements.
Pop Cash
https://popcash.net/
Uses pop-unders and you can use them alongside AdSense. So this is not an alternative, but another type of ad you can employ along with AdSense. This is the first network we have run across that requires a fee ($5.00) to get started.
PropellerAds

Ad Formats
- Push Notifications
- On-click Ads
- In-Page Push
- Smart Links
- Interstitials:
Conclusion
As you can see there are plenty of Google AdSense Alternatives should you need to choose one.
One of the big reasons to leave Google AdSense is if you have a high amount of traffic. Then you can definitely make more money elsewhere.
As far as we could tell from all of these networks they are family-friendly ad networks. If you run a site of the very adult variety there are ad networks specifically for your site which you can find from a quick Google search.
There are many ways to monetize a site, but you can start with an ad network and work from there.
Happy Monetizing!
